Starbucks Lemon Loaf Cake

The  Starbucks lemon  cake is just as easy to make as any other cake; it is super moist and lemony. You are going to love this recipe, and I recommend that you try it. If you don’t like lemon, you can make it with oranges.

For this recipe, you need flour, baking powder, baking soda, softened margarine, and sugar. Eggs, buttermilk or sour cream, vanilla extract, lemon extract, sugar, and lemon juice. In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, baking soda & salt.

In a separate bowl, beat together the butter and sugar until fluffy – this will take at least 3 minutes.

Mix in the eggs 1 at a time and mix after each addition. Then mix in the vanilla extract, optional lemon extract, lemon zest, and lemon juice. With the mixer on low speed, mix in about 1/2 of the flour mixture, followed by about 1/2 of the sour cream.
